The rubber rotor pump for sewage sludge treatment is capable of conveying abrasive media with high viscosity, high solids content, and fibers, making it less prone to clogging. With advantages such as strong self-priming, bidirectional conveying, low fluid shear, and stable flow rate, the modular design facilitates simple maintenance. It is suitable for working conditions involving sludge, chemical slurry, tank bottom oil sludge, sewage, etc., making it the preferred pump type for complex media conveyance.

The rubber rotor pump for sewage sludge treatment is a self-priming positive displacement pump. Two rotors mounted on two shafts are driven in opposite directions by timing gears. Small sealed chambers are formed between the rotors and the pump casing. As the rotors turn, air at the suction end is expelled to create a vacuum, the medium is drawn in, and the medium filling the chambers is continuously pushed by the rotating rotors from the suction end to the discharge end, so that the pump runs continuously. The direction of product transfer through the rotary lobe pump can be reversed simply by changing the direction of rotor rotation.
Working Principle:

Stage 1: A pair of closely meshing rotors rotate in opposite directions, progressively expelling the air at the suction end and thereby creating a vacuum there, so that the medium is forced in by atmospheric pressure.
Stage 2: The medium enters the sealed chambers between the rotors and the pump chamber and is progressively pushed by the rotors toward the discharge end.
Stage 3: The medium is continuously pushed toward the discharge end by the rotors.
Stage 4: The medium fills the entire pump chamber and, as the driver runs, continuous transfer of the medium is achieved.

Product Features:
1.High efficiency and energy saving: The rubber-coated rotors form sealed chambers with the pump chamber as they rotate, reducing leakage, improving pump efficiency and saving energy.
2.Low noise and no shearing: The rubber-coated rotors transfer medium smoothly with low pulsation and low shear force, and can handle gas/solid/liquid mixed media and shear-sensitive media. The rubber provides good vibration and noise damping and effectively reduces the pump noise level.
3.Wear and corrosion resistance: The rubber material offers good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, extending pump service life.
4.High adaptability: The elasticity of the rubber-coated rotors enables them to adapt to different media. The symmetrical structure allows bi-directional pumping, and the pumps cover a wide viscosity range, from low-viscosity to semi-solid and particle-laden media.
5.No manual priming required: Strong self-priming capability with a suction lift of up to 8 m; flow range 1 – 2,000 m³/h.
6.Easy maintenance: The rubber-coated rotor structure is simple and easy to maintain and replace.
Applications:
Suitable for transferring crude oil, water-oil mixtures and mixtures of coalbed methane and water in the petroleum industry, municipal or industrial wastewater treatment, mining and heavy industry, daily chemicals, the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

Q
How do I select the right pump model?
APlease provide medium, viscosity, temperature, required flow, discharge pressure, suction condition and installation space. Our engineers will recommend a rotary pump, centrifugal pump, sewage lifting unit or complete pump set within 24 hours. -
Q
Can the pump handle high-viscosity or solids-laden fluids?
AYes. Twin-rotor lobe pumps are designed for high-viscosity, gas-liquid mixed and slightly solids-laden media. For abrasive slurry, we recommend a dedicated slurry centrifugal pump with wear-resistant materials. -
Q
Do you support OEM / ODM and custom materials?
AWe provide OEM and ODM services, including customized rotor geometry, sealing systems, skid layout, control panels, and wetted parts in cast iron, stainless steel, duplex steel or other alloys. -
Q
What is the warranty and after-sales response?
AStandard warranty is 12 months after handover following 168 hours of trial operation. Technical staff can be dispatched for installation guidance, and quality issues are handled within 0–36 hours after notification.
